Privacy Policy

The short version. Little Dreaming Dino is a parent-managed bedtime app. We don't show ads, we don't allow chat, we don't sell or share your data with third parties, and we don't track your child across apps or websites.

What we collect

• Account: the parent's email address and a password hash.
• Child profile: an optional favorite dinosaur and optional bedtime preferences. We do not ask for, store, or display your child's name anywhere in the app — the only things you name are the dinosaurs you discover.
• App data: which eggs have hatched, which dinosaur species are in your collection, and timestamps for the bedtime ritual.
• Diagnostics: standard server logs (IP, user agent, error stacks) for keeping the service running. Errors are only captured in-process to produce a useful error page — we do not ship error data to a third-party monitoring service.

What we don't collect

Names or nicknames of children, photos, voice recordings, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics.

How we use it

Only to run the app: authenticate you, save your progress, and personalize the bedtime experience. We never use your data for advertising.

AI-generated stories

Morning stories are generated on-demand by a third-party large language model provider, accessed through our backend. The prompt we send describes the dinosaur species being hatched, the name the child chose for that dinosaur, and a few neutral story parameters. We never send your child's name, your email, your account ID, or any other identifying account information to the AI provider. The AI provider processes the prompt to generate the story under their own privacy and data-use terms; we choose providers that offer API access without using customer prompts to train their general models.

Storage & security

Data is stored on encrypted managed cloud infrastructure. Row-level security limits each account to its own data.

Subscriptions & payments

After 3 free hatches, continued daily hatching requires an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Apple and Google handle the payment, the billing relationship, and any refund requests; we never see your card details. To validate and track the subscription we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app-user identifier (your Lovable Cloud user id) and the platform transaction metadata (product id, purchase and expiration dates, country code from Apple/Google). RevenueCat does not receive your email, your child's information, your IP address from the app, or any in-app activity. We do not use any of this data for advertising.

Your rights

You can edit your preferences at any time from Settings. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Account. For any other requests, email the address below.

Children's privacy (COPPA / GDPR-K)

Little Dreaming Dino is designed for parent-managed use. The account holder must be 13+ (16+ in the EU). The app never collects a child's name or any other personal identifier — only dinosaurs are named. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
